Who can conclude the insurance?
The services of educare24 are designed for visitors in Germany with a foreign nationality and who are not older than 69. The insurance can be concluded within the first month after entering the country, also within one month after the beginning of classes, studies, a practical course, or even one month after the beginning of the teaching or research job.
How to receive your insurance?
1. Quickly and directly over Internet
You can easily conclude educare24 online. You
will immediately receive a provisional cover note.
2. Easy by mail or fax
Alternatively the application form can be downloaded (as
a pdf file), printed out, filled in and be send back to our office. You will
immediately receive your confirmation of insurance coverage.
All important documents on one view
• After the conclusion of agreement you receive the following documents:
• A confirmation of insurance coverage designed for your files and the
presentation for public authorities.
• An insurance card for your purse.
• An „Ärzte-Info-Ticket“ for the immediate invoice to
the medical practitioner.
• A “notification of change” to commit contractual amendment
requests for your convenience.
When does the validity begin?
The insurance is valid according to the applied date, earliest at the day after reception of your application (24:00).
When does the insurance expire?
The insurance contract expires automatically at the given date.
Scope
The scope of insurance comprises to the member states of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) including Switzerland. The insurance covers also world wide trips of six weeks maximum.

How to pay?
The payment of premiums is raised by direct debit. The monthly contribution will be deducted from your account. The first debit will occur within few days after application. If you don’t want to choose direct debit we can offer you as well to pay the whole amount by cheque or by bank transfer. In that case please add a copy of the cheque or a stamped bank transfer order to your application.
